Shamanic Healing
Shamanic healing is very much an ancient art of energy medicine – the healing of our luminous energy field. ‘Shamans discovered that the luminous energy field (LEF) that surrounds the body, holds the key for how we will age, heal and might die.'
I completed my training at the Healing of the Light Body School with The Four Winds Society, founded by Dr Alberto Villoldo PhD, a doctor of Medical Anthropology and Psychologist. He was always interested in ‘going deeper’ and discovering the psychosomatic causes of disease - why some people heal and others do not. When he realised he couldn’t find his answers dissecting the brain in a lab, he set out on a journey, met up with the oldest living descendants of the Inca Shamans (the Quero) in Peru and spent the next 35 years with them, learning their ancient practices.
Alberto then brought this learning back to the West and founded the Healing of the Light Body School in Utah. He has referred to this Shamanic training as the Medicine of the West. The school has now become an international research and training organisation preserving a thousand-year-old tradition of knowledge and wisdom, assisting all involved to achieve personal and planetary healing.
My life has very much been about my journey to wholeness. The role of the Shaman throughout time has been to go deeply into the recesses of a person, the unconscious, to the ‘domains of the soul’, to retrieve the wholeness that is so much a part of a soul’s journey. It is from that place that the pieces of ourselves, lost through trauma and hurtful experiences, can be retrieved and returned to us, rather like a missing piece of a jigsaw puzzle. The Shaman uses the processes of illumination, extraction, soul retrieval and transition rites to help clear the old stories we live by, paving the way for the creation of a new destiny. With our new destiny, we can co-create a new world and dream the world we want into being, a world of plenty for all, a world of peace and love. WE can become the change we want to see in the world.
If you ever feel lost, like life is no longer working for you, that one day leads into another like a worn-out path, or that life is just too much and you want ‘out’, then this wonderful work can help. For more information, you can click here. |

The Munay-ki comes from a Quechua word that means ‘I love you’. The Munay-ki are the Nine Rites of Initiation to become a person of wisdom and power, one who has accepted the stewardship for all creation. The nine Rites are common to all shamanic traditions, even though they are expressed differently depending on the culture.
These Nine Rites of Initiation were handed down by the medicine men and women of the Inca tradition, Earthkeepers. They are Rites of Passage, that prepare our luminous energy field for the time to come: a time of transformation that has been prophesied by all the ancient traditions.
The Munay-Ki can be received, individually or in a group; one to three Rites at a time. The choice is up to the individual and can be discussed.
