 Messages can come to us in ways we don't expect or even "like" at the time they come. My major life signpost occurred as a road traffic accident in 1990, in which I suffered a spinal injury. This injury and the resulting chronic pain I lived with during the years that followed, changed my life completely. I started to realise my accident was a "signpost" when I found myself repeatedly saying out loud and to myself "that I would do it all again, just to be where I am now, doing what I'm doing". I am still saying these words to this day. Pain has been my greatest teacher and certainly the main stimulus for me in a frustrated and desperate state, trying to reach a "comfortable place" and a feeling of peace within myself. During these very painful years, I have qualified as a teacher of the Alexander Technique, mainly because I wanted to learn how to manage myself in a better way and bring balance to the doing and being aspects of my life. I have also trained in different areas of kinesiology and specialise in Creative Kinesiology. My healing has been completed with the addition of Reconnective Healing® (encompassing all forms of energy healing i.e. Reiki, Qi Gong) and The Reconnection® (this is a Personal Reconnection). Hopi Ear Candle treatment is also available. I am currently training to be a Shamanic Healer with Alberto Villoldo PhD and The Four Winds Society, an international research and training organization preserving a thousand year old tradition of knowledge to achieve personal and planetary healing. The renowned Healing the Light Body School, trains professional practitioners in energy medicine with advanced training programs in clinical skills and shamanic medicine teachings. All of the techniques/therapies have made a significant and amazing improvement to my life. My deepest desire is not only to reach my full potential but also to realise it and live it day by day,
